Sabatier Edonist Santoku Knife – a must-have in your kitchen !

Ergonomically designed handle made of ABS in black colour
Two steel crossing rivets : guaranteed solidity of the handle
Fully forged blade made of X50CrMoV15+N stainless steel
Edonist series : good-looking design and outstanding quality.

I’ve been a Chef now for 30years and used many different types of knives over these years I know a decent knife when i see one. Having recently spent over £170 on my latest edition to my collection.

Sabatier knives have long been recognised as one of the best makes in the world, so this new Santoku knife is a great addition to any Chefs collection.

This Sabatier Edonist Santoku Knife at a mere £55 I thought this was fantastic value.

Having used this knife for a few weeks now, i thought it was time i could give my honest thoughts on the usage of the knife.

After picking up the knife for the first time it felt like it was really well weighted and evenly balanced from holding the handle.

It cut like a razor, slicing easily, chopping and gliding through the food like a hot knife through butter.

I knew from this moment I was going to enjoy using this knife.

After getting used to it for a little while not without some mishaps though, so be careful!

This is a beauty of a knife which cuts with precision and ease.

It makes light work with most of your prep in no time at all.

I’m sure with some more usage this is going to be one of my favourite knives in my bag!

Looks like a great value for money knife. Our clients usually go for Moritaka or Fujiwara Teruyasu santokus. Is Sabatier easy to sharpen?

Yes, it does, Sabatier knives have always been great knives to sharpen and this is no exception. A very good buy.
