Split Tips with the Chefs / Tip the Chefs
Chef’s work just as hard and some may argue HARDER than the floor staff in restaurants, and in some instances get paid LESS or EQUAL to what waiters may get. We deserve a share in the tips… If the kitchen stops making food, the wait staff will have no food to run… and if the meal is so enjoyable, why do the wait staff get paid extra for it? Did they cook it? NO. The Chef’s did! They just moved it from one place to another. It’s not about the money…. It’s about the acknowledgement of our hard work.
